Multifunctional Fabrics

We believe workwear with multiple protective capabilities is safer for wearers and better for businesses. Having a fabric with a single protective capability could leave employees vulnerable to other hazards not considered.

Klopman fabrics offer multiple levels of EN-accredited protection based on a wide range of Personal Protective Equipment fabrics: flame-retardant, antistatic, high-visibility, barrier and chemical splash, water, oil and soil protection.

The range of Megatec fabrics, are developed in antistatic cotton-rich blends with a flame-retardant treatment (intended to last at least 50 wash cycles). Megatec is ideal for applications requiring multiple levels of EN-accredited protection: from heat and flame protection (ISO 11612 – ISO 14116) to antistatic properties (in compliance with the standard EN 1149-5, EN 1149-3 and ANSI/ESD STM 2.1). Welding protection is also guaranteed (ISO 11611 and IEC 61482-1-1), as well as electric arc protection (EN 61482-1-2 and IEC 61482-1-2), chemical resistance EN 13034 Type 6, and a high-visibility yellow option available according to EN 20471.

Building on the iconic MEGATEC range, MEGAFLEX 250 is Klopman’s first multifunctional stretch treated fabric, combining enhanced comfort, full PPE performance and a more sustainable approach.

MEGAFLEX 250 R PES HG is a next‑generation flame‑retardant (FR) stretch fabric. Its exceptional durability is ensured by Proban® treated quality, maintaining performance through more than 50 industrial wash cycles. Comfort and elasticity are enhanced by XLANCE® fibre, making the fabric fully suitable for industrial laundering. The Hydrogen Finish provides a PFAS‑free, environmentally responsible solution, fully compliant with EN ISO 13034.
